Change Your Perspective, Change Your Life!

This month on Overcoming Faith Television, I have been teaching on the topic “Prosperity Confession.” As each month goes by, the media’s predictions about the U.S. economy become more and more negative, and now is the perfect time to get your confession right! Now is the perfect time to line up your confession with God’s Word! To overcome, to win, to succeed, and to prevail in this life, you must take action upon God’s Word, and part of taking action upon God’s Word is getting your faith, your actions, and your speech all lined up and moving in the same direction.
Last year, when Pastor Sue and I returned from a trip overseas, we stopped by a local coffee shop for a cup of coffee. In front of us, there were three middle-aged men in line complaining that the coffee company had raised their prices by nine cents. They were complaining about nine cents! This experience really made an impression upon me, because Pastor Sue and I had just returned from a trip to Europe, where, due to the exchange rate, everything is much more expensive than in the States. Plus, as many of you know, things are more expensive in various parts of America, depending on where you live. So, there we were, in America, in Texas, a state with no state income tax, and three middle-aged men were complaining about nine cents. That is a prime example of not having the right kind of confession!
